Biona Privacy Policy

How Biona handles information.

Biona is built as a focused planning and mood-tracking app. The app does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not use your data for tracking.

Information we collect

Biona does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal profile information. The tasks, goals, goal tasks, mood logs, notes, dates, and progress you add are stored locally on your device.

Biona also stores basic app preferences on your device, such as whether onboarding has been completed. Biona does not send this activity to AroApps servers.

Local storage and deletion

Biona uses Apple's on-device storage technologies to keep your tasks, goals, goal tasks, and mood logs available inside the app. This data stays on the device where it was created unless you choose to share it outside the app.

You can delete app data from the Profile screen using the delete all data option. Removing the app from your device may also remove locally stored Biona data, depending on your device settings and backups.

Purchases and subscriptions

Biona offers optional Pro access. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and payment details are handled by Apple, not by Biona.

Biona uses RevenueCat to check subscription status, load available offerings, complete purchases, and restore previous purchases. RevenueCat may receive purchase and entitlement information needed to provide Pro access. You can review RevenueCat's privacy practices in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Tracking, ads, and permissions

Biona does not use third-party advertising, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as location, camera, photos, contacts, microphone, or health data.

Support and external links

If you contact support by email, we receive the email address and message content you choose to send. Biona may also link to Apple services, such as the App Store review page and Apple's standard terms of use.

If you use the share option, your device prepares the message you choose to send. Biona does not receive a copy of that message unless you send it to AroApps.

Data retention

Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain support records. App data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete it in Biona, remove the app, or otherwise manage it through your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Biona changes or when legal, operational, or App Store requirements change. The updated date above will show when the policy was last revised.
